Share your favorite poem.
we went to see beauty and the beast in zilker park last night. i thought it was going to be a rinky dink play with silly props, but it was awesome. the girl sounded just like belle in tha actual movie. we tried to rent it after we left, but it didn't end until midnight, so nothing was open. boo.
here's some pictures. i couldn't use flash photography during the play, but we have some of us goofing off and one of the set. i wonder what the play will be for next summer.
my new obsession is the office. john krasinski is so hott.
What's the best movie you've seen so far this summer? Worst?
wow, i haven't seen any movies other than baby momma. it was my favorite. i got to see it with my husband and dad and i don't even remember the last time my dad went out to see a movie, or even a movie with me.
we're giving up on the lady we've been talking to about the loan. she just doesn't get back to us at all and we haven't heard from her since the day before yesterday. hasn't answered any of our questions and keeps adding things to the list that she didn't think about getting done the day before. bah.
zach's mom is watching kai for most of today. i get little breaks from the baby every now and then which aren't bad, but i rarely get a break from the baby AND zach (he's working). i'm afraid i'll be bored out of my mind. i might just catch up on sleep for most of that time.
have i mentioned kai is sitting up ALL the time now? it's so funny. when he wakes up in the morning, he's sitting right up in his crib looking right at us. i love it.
he's also starting to realize that some people that come around are new & he automatically get bashful. he'll look at you and then turn his head into whoever's shoulder that's carrying him; hiding his face from the person. it's precious.

Where do you go for advice?
usually zach. i live with him and when things are tough or i ask him what choice i should make, he has a reasonable answer. i can take things to the extremes sometimes. he's more levelheaded and can help me out more than i can help myself.
i also call my mom or dad to see what they think, too.
it really depends on the situation.
it doesn't look so good with the broker that zach is talking to right now, but we have two other places to try out before we give up. for whatever reason, even though zach has mandatory overtime every month, they can't count that as income which raises our debt-to-income ratio to 50% which is basically out of the question for the underwriters.
our next two options will be the homes for heroes and NACA. i hope it works with this one, though. i don't want any more hits on my credit.
we went to ikea last night to look at things. i think we're jumping the bullet a little bit, but it was fun. zach wants me to compromise with him on how to decorate and furnish the house if we get it. he wants all dark colors and i want brights. he's afraid the guys he works with will make fun of him if they come over. something like he doesn't want to look like he lives with his little sister.
i'm more excited about buying the new furniture and appliances (if we get more loan than the house costs) than buying a home.
